Barnes International Series 30H Filter

The permanent media filter system will provide 40 micron filtration at the rate of 20 gallons per minute of water soluble coolant.  Removal of aluminum chips and fines produced by the drilling operation greatly extends tooling life and virtually eliminates downtime for tank and machine cleaning.

Barnes Product Improvement

Inspecting the new Barnes electric fabric rewinder that replaces the traditional air motor rewinder.

This major innovation gives better performance and does not use expensive compressed air.

The new rewinder consists of an electric motor driven by a special torque mode variable frequency drive.  The old air motor drive had only two torque settings while the new rewinder automatically and continuously changes speed in order to maintain constant torque on the spent fabric while indexing.

This new development is a good example of the goal of Barnes International to continue product improvement.

Barnes International ATF System

Barnes International manufactures  oil processing systems that are used to condition a continuous supply of automatic transmission fluid (ATF) to transmission test stands, or for hot oil supply to engine fill stands.  ATF is pumped through bag filters to remove contaminants, then through a dehydrator to remove moisture.  Water content and temperature of fluid are carefully controlled to insure design specifications are not exceeded.

Final check off of electrical system on ATF oil processing system before shipment.  Sophisticated controls monitor all phases of the system including water content of ATF, oil temperature and discharge pressure to process.  The system is completely set up, piped, wired and tested at Barnes to insure minimal installation and start-up time in the users plant.

This high-tech system is a good example of our forward thinking engineering staff.

Barnes International Announces New Product - Kleenall MPE-150

In response to numerous customer requests for higher flow rates in the proven MPE Kleenall design, Barnes International, Inc. is pleased to announce the new MPE-150 combination magnetic and fabric filter system.  Using the tried and true concept of the smaller MPE Series, the filter size has been expanded to accommodate flow rates of up to 150 GPM of water based coolants.  The same flow rate deration will apply for oil coolants.

Barnes engineers were able to enlarge the filter area by increasing the size of the seal wheel, while at the same time keeping the standard 50" fabric width, the same as the MPE-25 and MPE-100 models.

Barnes International, Inc. Kleenall Chip Filter Systems

Three RDXC-020 Kleenall Chip Filter Systems being inspected before moving to final assembly area.  Filters are arranged with magnetic bottoms and inclines for cast iron machining.  A 200 mesh filter belt assures fine particle removal.

The filters will be shipped to a large machine tool distributor for installation on machines and eventual shipment to customers.

Barnes MCS-620 Magnetic Separator

Inspecting Barnes MCS-620 Magnetic Separators before moving to the final assembly area where they will be fitted with tanks, pumps and controls before painting and shipping to customers.

The MCS-610 and MCS-620 magnetic separators are very popular in the industry because of their low cost, efficiency and ease of installation.

These units have flow rate capacities of 20 and 40 GPM respectively.  Normally in stock, they are usually available for immediate delivery.
