Three RDXC-020 Kleenall Chip Filter Systems being inspected before moving to final assembly area. Filters are arranged with magnetic bottoms and inclines for cast iron machining. A 200 mesh filter belt assures fine particle removal.
The filters will be shipped to a large machine tool distributor for installation on machines and eventual shipment to customers.

Barnes MCS-620 Magnetic Separator
Inspecting Barnes MCS-620 Magnetic Separators before moving to the final assembly area where they will be fitted with tanks, pumps and controls before painting and shipping to customers.
The MCS-610 and MCS-620 magnetic separators are very popular in the industry because of their low cost, efficiency and ease of installation.
These units have flow rate capacities of 20 and 40 GPM respectively. Normally in stock, they are usually available for immediate delivery.
Check our website at barnesintl.com to see our complete line of magnetic separators including BarMag and PlateMag. Flow rate capacities up to 5,000 GPM are available.

Barnes International, Inc. of Rockford, IL, USA, a major
builder of high quality filtration systems, has developed the Kleenall Max
Coolant Filtration System to meet the needs of major automotive manufacturers
worldwide. Over thirty units have been supplied to service engine and
transmission machinery modules with flow rates varying from 2,000 L/M to 12,000
L/M (500 to 3,000 GPM).
Systems consist of a rotating drum (RD), permanent media
filter precleaner to remove solids down to 30 microns nominal, a sidestream
vacuum media polishing filter for 10 micron cleaning, and an automatic
backflushing sentinel filter to provide full flow protection to all machines.
The units are totally assembled and run off at our facility.
They are built on skids with containment pans to contain any coolant spillage
and require no special foundation, pits, or drain trenches. Single point
connections for utility drops minimize installation time and cost. All
equipment is robustly designed and maintenance friendly to give years of
trouble free service. They ship mostly assembled with only a few parts to be
bolted on at the job site.
Barnes International, Inc. is an innovative leader in the
development of quality designed filtration systems. No system is too large or
too complex for Barnes engineers to tackle.

Barnes International Standard Products - A Review - Kleenall Filter
The Barnes MPE-10 Kleenall Magnetic and Fabric Filter
Combining a magnetic drum with a filter fabric second stage allows the Barnes system to remove finer particles in addition to non-magnetic materials such as abrasive wheel breakdown. Like the magnetic separator line they are competitively priced and easily installed.
The MPE Series is undoubtedly the most successful filter of its type ever offered to the industry. It has been widely copied the world over, but nothing comes close to the design features offered by this filter.
The MPE system can handle flow rates up to approximately 100 GPM. Again these flow rates are based on water soluble coolants.
The PE Series is identical to the MPE Series with the exception of the magnetic drum which is not used. Intended applications are grinding non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass and some alloy's.

Barnes International Standard Products - A Review
Historically, the Barnes product line - Magnetic Separators and Fabric Filters - have been recommended and used on grinding and finishing machines such as honing and some lapping machines. The first of these is the standard Barnes Magnetic Separator.
The MCS magnetic separator line ranges in flow rate capacities from 20 GPM to 250 GPM with water based coolants. First introduced during WWII, our magnetic separators offer low cost and low floor space requirements, along with ease of installation. Although limited to ferrous applications they offer a lot of filtration for the money and provide a quick return on investment.
