Barnes Rotary Drum Filter Product Improvement

A recent development from Barnes Engineers is the exclusive torque guard assembly for the Rotary Drum Filter units.  This device which is available as an option on new units or as a retrofit for older filters, provides over torque protection of the drag conveyor system through an adjustable spring limit switch assembly that automatically resets itself after a jam has been cleared.

This is another example of Barnes International's goal of continuous product improvement.  We are always striving to provide our customers with the most trouble free filters available in the marketplace.

Work is progressing nicely on the addition to the main plant.  Completion is scheduled for shortly after the holidays, just in time to allow us to have a number of completed Kleenall Max filter systems into this new section to await shipment to customers.

This new storage warehouse will be a valuable addition to our main plant.

Barnes New Plant Addition Scheduled

Inspecting the area where a 5,800 square foot warehouse addition to our main plant will be located.  A planned increase in orders for large Kleenall filtration systems starting later this year makes this expansion necessary. Completion is scheduled for October, 2015.

The addition will consist of six separate bays, each with its own overhead door and truck loading capability.  Overhead cranes will service the entire area.  When necessary, spaces can double as assembly areas in addition to storage of completed systems.

Building and storing completed filtration systems allows us to provide "on time" delivery for our customers.
